I am a Bi Lingual, Bi Cultural psychologist and psychoanalyst. I was born and raised in Haifa, Israel (photo above) and have lived and practiced in San Francisco for over thirty years.
The aim of my practice is to help individuals and/or couples gain relief from unnecessary emotional pain and suffering with the hope of successfully changing lifelong embedded, habitual patterns that no longer “work”.
My style is warm, engaging and direct. I like “to cut to the chase”.
I have an unusual ability to “zero” in quickly on issues or concerns that might be troubling and problematic for you and help you address those in a more direct, effective way.
Common to most people are issues involving feelings of inadequacy, depression and anxiety around social situations, relationships at work, at home, dating and in romantic encounters. Other areas include eating, food and weight concerns and/or getting through a change, a crisis or any other difficult life situation.
Being a certified psychoanalyst also qualifies me to offer Psychoanalysis and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy when appropriate. Both are unique forms of intensive psychotherapy that foster personal development and liberation from unsatisfying or painful patterns of living.
